The practice is currently improving its telephone system and Wifi connection.  Disruption should be minimal however, we will notify patients of any known significant disruption during the changeover - expected March 2019.  Our Practice and its branch site will remain open during these works.  If it is urgent that you obtain medical advice and cannot speak to a staff member at the Practice during this period, please contact 111 for advice.

Extended Access appointments available from 1st October.

As part of the South Shropshire Medical Group, we are now able to offer patient appointments with neighbouring practices: Albrighton, Bridgnorth and Church Stretton.  The appointments available to Shifnal & Priorslee patients will be at an evening and a weekend.  Appointments are bookable via our Practice Reception Team.

Repeat Prescriptions

This service is only for medication listed on your repeat order form.

There are several ways of ordering your prescription:

  • Order your repeat prescription online via the link at the top of this page. You will need to be registered for this service.
  • As from 25/04/18, you can now order your repeat prescription by telephone.  Call NHS Prescription Ordering Direct (POD) on 0333 3583509, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Please ask for a leaflet from Reception or your Pharmacy for more information. Please note that the busiest times for the POD are Mondays and Tuesdays - to prevent delays in getting through to the POD phone line please avoid these busy times - thank you.

Where prescriptions can not be sent EPS (see next tab), we run a Pharmacy collection system at both sites, whereby repeat prescriptions can be collected by the local Pharmacist and you can then pick up your medication from them at a time to suit you.

In order for you to use the Pharmacy Collection Service you must first register with your preferred Pharmacy. For further details please ask at your preferred Pharmacy.

There is a £15.00 charge to raise a private prescription, to be paid on collection of prescription.
