Test Results

test_results11Please call after 11:00 to enquire about your test results when our team will have more time to deal with your request.

Receiving results

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data, or they are not capable of understanding the results. We will need to confirm your identity when you call.

When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with a clinician if you are advised to do so.

If the test results are satisfactory and need no further explanation, you will be told the result there and then. If however you need to discuss your results in more detail or the clinician has made comments, you will be given a mutually convenient time when a clinician will ring you to discuss the outcome in more detail.
