What is the NHS App?

Use the NHS App to manage your healthcare using a phone, tablet or computer.

Order repeat prescriptions, use NHS 111 online, Find NHS services, View your GP health record, book appointments, get reminders and messages and much more.

The NHS App is owned and run by the NHS. It can be accessed by anyone aged 13 and over registered with an NHS GP surgery in England or Isle of Man.

Once you have verified your identity in the app, you will have easy, 24/7 access to a growing range of health services and information.

The NHS App does not replace the existing services you may use.

You can still contact your GP surgery in the usual ways.

It's free and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You can do so much more with the NHS App than you realise

You can quickly and easily request your repeat prescriptions.

And if you turn on notifications, you’ll get messages and appointment reminders as soon as they’re sent.

You can also view your GP health record, get your test results before they arrive in the post, and book and manage appointments. All when it suits you.

You can download the NHS App onto your phone or tablet from the App store on Apple devices, or the Google Play Store on Android devices.
