Patient Participation Group

Patient Participation Group

A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group made up of patients and GP practice staff who work together to improve the experience of people registered at the practice.

The PPG works together with the practice to represent the patient’s voice in decision making, ensuring that all communities served by the practice are represented.

Shifnal & Priorslee Medical Practice PPG welcome expressions of interest from patients registered at the practice who have a little time to spare every three to four months.  We need our PPG to be truly representative of our population and particularly welcome young people, people in work, retirees, carers, people with long term conditions and people from all ethnic groups.

What is involved?

Shifnal & Priorslee Medical Practice PPG meets at least three times a year at the Shifnal practice. Meetings consist of patients and practice representatives coming together to discuss the work of the practice, looking at best practice and any areas for improvement.
